In the Martin 60 I use Lubriplate 105 but many folks on this forum speak highly of Cornhead grease which I believe they said is made by or for John Deere. I have just acquired a 1972 6 HP Evinrude outboard motor that I plan on using with my Achilles dinghy. Can anyone here tell me what kind of Lower Unit Gearcase Oil I should use with this motor.
The service manual says to use OMC Sea Lube oil but that is just a name and doesnt specify exactly what kind or grade of oil it is.
