Hello Sorry to be so long winded but I thought it would help. I am looking for some help on a problem I am having with a 1984 40HP Johnson Outboard. I put the engine on a pontoon boat about a year ago and had no problems for about half a year.

The problem is intermittent and I am pretty sure it is a fuel issue but I cant figure out what. Its 40HP is an inline two-cylinder outboard.
